We are currently seeking to recruit a Technical / Design Coordinator based at our Cheadle Head Office.

Job Outline:
 
Working within the Design Services/Built Environment team, the Technical/Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating designs, engineering and planning of construction projects.

Being able to check layout drawings, suppliers and manufacturers details, for example Revit and AutoCAD as well as have a good understanding of BIM work-flow processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist in obtaining necessary Building Regulation and technical details to provide compliant construction details.
  • Being able to prepare drawings and collate all supporting information
  • Provide technical support to the Design Manager
  • Co-ordinate the assembly of the pre-construction material for presentation purposes, including phasing 3D modelling, clash-detection
  • Must be able to determine errors in technical designs and provide alternative solutions
 
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree educated, Bsc (Hons) Architectural or Civil Engineering.
  • Revit expert.
  • 3D, 4D, 5D Modelling of work drawings, pre-defined CAD or PDF details.
  • Have an understanding of the Building Regulations, BREEAM, PART L.
  • Have an understanding of BIM processes.
